“ This little hidden corner treasure serves amazing food , my personal favorite are the delicious soups, Trust me You definitely get more than your moneys worth. The owner and chef is such a kind genuine ma Man, whenever you hear someone talk about this place it starts with how delicious the food is and how amazing the service was. There's plenty of seating open room for you to stretch out and enjoy your meal solo or with the group. It's nice and quiet. ”
“ Food, service, and ambiance definitely recommend! Please read 2nd picture attached to this review. ”
“ The food there is amazing and they have very good service and if you should always call and order ahead of time. This is my #1 spot to go to. ”
“ Good food for a great deal. Everything I've had here (breakfast, noodles, etc) is delicious. The owner is very kind and responsive. Cash only. I like coming in to support small owned business. ”
“ This place is one of the best places in the area to come to. The owner is so nice to everyone who walks in and makes the best dishes ever. He even gives brownies to you with your meal ! Has been here 52 years and I know business has slowed down a bit for him through the years but I wish more people would come by and enjoy a meal. Combo soup is my go to. ”
“ My dad owned the smog shop next to their original location called Mommas back in the 80s. I grew up on this food and never realized how good I had it until I moved away. The owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet, the food is outrageously good... I've had it all.... But my goto is the teriyaki combo plate. I've never had better teriyaki sauce in my life. I probably had this for the first time when I was 2 or 3 and I just went to visit at 47. It tastes exactly the same and that is such a good thing. Go eat here, you won't be let down. ”
“ This is truly a hole in the wall. From the outside, not much to look at. Inside about the same and very plain. However, once you learn the menu is a picture board by the entrance this one person shop is ready for your order. We had breakfast which was simple and great. Quickly our table was set for our meal. We all had smiles and thank him for great service and food. We finished our meal with some delicious brownies. I'll be back to try his lunch delicacies. ”
“ We stumbled upon this place and it was the best customer service we've ever received. Kenny, the store owner, is so sweet and caring and will provide you with anything you want. The food was extremely fresh and homemade. The portions were very large compared to the price, such a great deal! I highly recommend this place for a great homemade meal with the kindest person ever! 10/10! Thank you Kenny! ”
“ I remember eating at the original hole in the wall location next to Felix Chevrolet back in the 80's. They moved to this location decades ago. The inside doesn't have that much character but it's a simple mom and pop restaurant. The food was pretty good but it doesn't compare to the greatness that Kenny's had back in the day. ”
“ One of the best experiences I've had at an LA restaurant (and I've been to my fair share)! Before I start, this place is CASH ONLY so bring your cash! My partner and I were looking for comfort-styled Asian food and came across this restaurant. With a lot of great reviews, we thought we'd give it a shot and it did not disappoint! The location can seem daunting, but don't let the exterior fool you! The food is really great and tasty, but above all else, the service is top notch. Kenny, the Thai owner and chef of this restaurant, greeted us and took our orders. The food came out promptly and after we ate, he came out to chat with us and even brought us free brownies, muffins, and KUMQUATS! He gave us kumquats to take home, I mean when was the last time a restaurant owner and chef gave you fruits to take home and eat?! He's been open for decades and I hope it continues to stay open. This restaurant is truly a gem and Kenny has the service and the food to prove it. I'll definitely be coming back, thank you for the fantastic food and service, Kenny! ”
